At every game there's a moment when the light, the action, and the expression all hit at once. Getting that frame is why I'm on the sideline every Friday night.

I'm James Wiseman, a photographer based in the Bay City & Midland, Michigan area. I shoot high school sports and aviation. I grew up in these gyms, pools, and stadiums, so I know what a game-winning play looks like from the right angle.

I use Canon EOS R7 with a combination of lenses to pull tight, sharp frames from across the field or the length of a pool. My photos have run in Dow High's "Update" Newspaper, MLive News, Dow High Athletics, Dow High Girls Swim Team.

Game day, full season, senior portraits — you get a private online gallery of edited, full-resolution photos, usually within five days. I'm already at most of these events. Reach out and I'll get your athlete covered.
